By the color alone, you know that this is a good plate of Hokkien Mee, the fragrance emits the perfect wok hei, the best possible moment where the noodles get that perfect wok hei fragrance, a few seconds more and it would get burnt. Out of the 100 items on their zichar menu, this is one food I religiously go back for, and yes, I verified with the owner yesterday to confirm that they indeed have 100 items on their zichar menu! Hokkien Mee is a rare find in a zichar stall, let alone one that cooks it perfectly; what's even better, they cook it plate by plate, ensuring consistency throughout. I regularly have dinner here but don't make it a habit of taking photos. I love the wok hei of the food here. You xan hear the chef turn on the stove and the clanging of the wok. I love the Thai Chicken with rice, hokkien mee ans the pictured San Lo Mifun or chao tar bi hun. The accompanying chilli sauce always hits the spot. This place is air conditioned and is well priced for an every day meal. I see thar groups will come here for dinner too. Service is fab! I once coughed badly and was serviced a hot honey lemon, just because. It's the little things.... Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
